    Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy

    Zero Tolerance for Corruption

    • VSS has zero tolerance for bribery and corruption in any form
    • Staff are prohibited from offering, giving, soliciting, or accepting bribes
    • Facilitation payments are not permitted under any circumstances
    • Third parties acting on our behalf must adhere to the same standards
    • Violations result in immediate termination and may be reported to authorities
    • Regular training ensures all staff understand their obligations

    Conflict of Interest

    A conflict of interest occurs when personal interests could influence, or appear to influence, professional judgment. VSS requires all staff involved in procurement to identify and declare any actual or potential conflicts.

    Declaration Requirements

    • Staff must declare any personal, financial, or family relationships with suppliers
    • Employees involved in procurement must recuse themselves if conflicts exist
    • Annual declarations of interest are required from all procurement staff
    • Undisclosed conflicts discovered later may result in disciplinary action
    • Managers must review and approve any potentially conflicted transactions

    Gifts & Hospitality Rules

    Acceptable

    • Business meals of reasonable value during legitimate meetings
    • Small promotional items (pens, notepads, calendars)
    • Invitations to industry events where VSS participation adds value

    Not Acceptable

    • Cash or cash equivalents (gift cards, vouchers)
    • Personal gifts or benefits for family members
    • Lavish entertainment, hospitality, or travel
    • Gifts given during active tender processes
    • Any gift designed to influence a business decision
